Juniperus twisted trunk.

This juniper chinensis was imported from Japan around 2005. In Japan it used to be a technique, with wiring ,to make a twisted trunk. By using thick wire around the trunk and let it snap in for 2 years, afterwards they removed the wire and cleaned the wound out with a powertool. A couple of years later the life vein became stronger and the result is a twisted trunk.

Two years later the tree is "standing on his own branches" without wire and became dense. The tree is still in my nursery and up for sale now at a very special price, he just needs a new wiring.
